Win a Custom $14K Orbea Occam LT and Support Western North Carolina Trails

Win a custom Orbea Occam LT built for Pisgah

This year's giveaway bike is a custom Orbea Occam LT. It's a $14,000 build with parts from partners who ride these mountains and invest in them: OneUp Components, Fox Factory, Industry Nine, Cane Creek, Shimano, and Continental. The winner also gets a day at Ride Kanuga with the Fox Factory team, who will set up the suspension and fit the bike to you so it rides right from the first pedal stroke.

Backed by a matching donor

OneUp Components will match the first $10,000 raised. They've backed Pisgah's trails for years, and this match is one more example of how they are dedicated to keeping trails in WNC maintained and supported into the future.

The bike

This year’s PAS Bike Giveaway is an Orbea Occam LT with 160mm of travel up front, 150mm out back, and a build we’d be very happy to call our own. It’s right at home on Pisgah’s steep, rocky trails, and we gave the parts list just as much attention as the frame.

  • Fox Factory suspension. A 2027 Fox Factory Float 36 fork and Float X shock keep things composed when the trail gets rough. You still have to pick your line.

  • Wireless shifting and dropper. Shimano XTR Di2 handles shifting, and a Fox Transfer Neo gets the saddle out of the way. Quick, precise, and two fewer cables to deal with.

  • Industry Nine wheels and Continental tires. Hydra 2 carbon enduro wheels bring fast engagement for technical climbs and the strength for the descent. Continental rubber handles traction duties on the roots and rocks.

  • Some of the best parts come from our neighbors. Industry Nine is based in Asheville, and Cane Creek is just down the road in Fletcher. Cane Creek’s eeWings titanium cranks and Hellbender bearings add durability to a build meant to see plenty of Pisgah miles.

  • The finishing details matter. OneUp pedals and handlebars, paired with Race Face grips, round out the build.

Why it matters
Every trail you rode this year, here or anywhere else, had someone's hands on it. Our staff, crew leaders, and volunteers spend every season clearing downed trees, fixing drainage, and rebuilding what storms take out. Your entry helps us:

  • Keep trails in great shape with year-round maintenance on every PAS-supported trail.

  • Support our staff and volunteers, who give thousands of hours each year to care for these trails.

  • Build new places to ride, from Pisgah National Forest to community projects like the Jackson Park bike park in Henderson County.

Our long-term goal is for everyone in Western North Carolina to live within 10 minutes of a great trail. Trails bring people together, get kids outside, and make our communities healthier and stronger.

Enter today. You might ride away on a new bike, and you'll definitely help keep the trails worth riding.

Thank you to our partners
