North Mills River

North Mills River is part of the Pisgah Ranger District that lies between Bent Creek Experimental Forest and South Mills River. It’s a great destination on its own, but can also allow a rider to build an epic ride that spans the majority of trails that PAS supports.

With trails like Spencer Gap, Spencer Branch and Trace Ridge - there are some wonderful side hill and downhill runs (and the climbs to get there) that really show the best of what Pisgah brings to offer.
