North Mills River Dig Day

We’d love to have you join us for a day of trail work, fresh air, and good company at our upcoming North Mills River Dig Day on Saturday, August 16th!

Details:
🕘 Meet at: Trace Ridge Trailhead
🚐 Shuttle to Worksite: Fletcher Creek Trail (via Henderson Reservoir Rd)
🔧 Project: Repair tread damage from fallen trees and brush back the trail corridor

Directions:
From the Ingles in Mills River, head west on N Mills River Rd for 4.9 miles. Turn right onto FS5000/Wash Creek Rd and drive 1.5 miles to the Trace Ridge Trailhead.

After the workday, hangout and enjoy food and drinks—you’ve earned it!

What to Bring (Required):

  • Long pants

  • Boots that cover your ankles

  • Gloves

  • Water and snacks

  • Hardhat (bike helmets not accepted; climbing helmets are OK)

  • Safety glasses

Don’t have gear? No problem—hardhats, gloves, and safety glasses can be provided.
All tools will be provided.
