We’re excited to be partnering with the Rutherford Outdoor Coalition and Conserving Carolina to help clear trees from the Weed Patch trail system on Wednesday, July 23rd. We’re looking for volunteers to assist as Swampers for our USDA Certified Sawyers.

We will have crews carpooling from Pisgah Forest and Asheville, let us know if you need a ride.

Details:

• Date: Wednesday, July 23rd

• Meeting Time & Place: 8:00 AM at Buffalo Creek Trailhead (we will shuttle to the trail access point)

• End Time: No later than 2:30 PM (depending on heat and weather)

• Volunteer Role: Swamping (assisting certified sawyers with trail clearing)
