Big tree down on Ingles Field Gap... about 1/10th mile above where the 2'+ trunk got cut/removed a couple weeks ago. This one is a bunch of large leafy branches from the top of the tree and blocking about 10-15 feet of trail length.

Was cleared on July 21st.

At exactly 9:50 this evening a tree fell right near the top of of the trail. It is an old dry rotted tree about 1 foot thick. Trees really do make a noise when they fall.

Close to the bottom of the trail there is a huge old tree across the trail. It will require Chain Saw.

BIG tree down on ingles field below "3 points", halfway to the bottom or so. reported on July 17th

Trail work compleated on 07/26/2012
Thanks to David and Sean, for they had a good evening cutting the tree out on Ingle's field. Went up and whittled on the daddi-o white oak on Ingle's. 16" bar almost wasn't enough for that one, but Sean didn't back down. Fortunately it was split in several places so that helped.

Reported on May 31st
There is a tree down that was cut out some time ago. There are now mud holes on either side of the tree due to the tree brocking water run off.

Compleated first trail work day in July

Good work this evening on Ingle’s Field. Thanks to Robin, Sean, Matt, Kevin, and David for coming out and doing some mud wrestling. Cleared some drains and knocked out a couple big mudholes. Recent rain made the digging easier and one could see how the drains were working or not. Mostly they were still working, just the problem spots in the flat sections where the water has nowhere to go that are the headaches. We’ll be continuing with the drainwork on a few more trails in the near future.
