A fun and challenging mountain bike ride through the scenic trails of DuPont State Forest. Funds raised go to Pisgah Area SORBA to help build and maintain the area trails for use by mountain bikers.
Two courses available:
EPIC: 45-50 mile route- single track & access roads route covering all sections of the forest.
ADVANCED: 20-25 mile ride – primarily single track & some access roads with lots ups and downs.

LOCATION: Parking, registration, rider check in & the Start/finish area will be located at the Guion farmhouse in DuPont State Forest off of Sky Valley Road. Click here for Directions
RIDER CHECK IN: All registered participants MUST check in and sign a waiver the morning of the event. Check in starts at 7:00 AM The epic ride starts at 8:55 AM and the advanced ride starts at 9:00 AM.
EVENT RULES: Helmets are required, All participants MUST sign liability waiver form. Riders less than 18 years of age MUST have a parent or legal guardian approval signature on waiver form to participate. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
ON SITE REGISTRATION: You can register on site the day of the event. On site registration is an extra charge of 10.00 On site registration starts at 7:00 AM at Guion Farm in DuPont State Forest. Total fee for those who register on site is $55.00
EVENT DAY SCHEDULE: 7:00 Same Day Registration Opens, Raffle Opens, and Registered Packets Handed out. 8:15 Registration and Raffle closes. 8:30 Raffle. 8:30 Riders meeting. 9:00 Ride Starts
KIDS RIDE FREE: Kids (13 and under) ride free. Kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the ride. The parent or guardian must pay for the event but the kid(s) ride free. Bring the whole family!
RAIN DATE POLICY: If the weather is very bad we will postpone the ride to the next day. Notice of a postponement will be communicated via the email provided during registration. Also we will post the notice on the Pisgah Area SORBA website http://www.pisgahareasorba.org/ and Facebook

ABOUT Pisgah Area SORBA: The Pisgah Area SORBA (PAS) Chapter of the Southern Off Road Biking Association (SORBA) is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving off road biking recreational opportunities through advocacy for quality trail systems.
ABOUT SAVE THE TRAILS: Pisgah Area SORBA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations and proceeds from this event will be used to realize Pisgah Area SORBAs mission to build and maintain the mountain biking trails of western North Carolina
