DuPont Trails Day June 2nd- Mega Work Party
As we have done in many past years, SORBA will have a celebration on Sat. June 2nd of all the great trails in DuPont State Recreational Forest. How better to celebrate than putting in some time working on trails. This is part of a larger national day of trails celebration happening all across the US.
Meet at Lake Imagining Parking Area at 9AM. We will be working on the cluster of trails in that area including: Holly Trail (a small relocation), Jim Branch (basic maintenance, de-berming etc), and Ridgeline (basic maintenance work). We plan to work for 5 or so hours so if you can not make it at the meeting time come out when you can.
All tools will be provided. It is however helpful if you can let me know if you are coming so I can plan the needed tool allocation.
Please bring the following: good footwear, gloves, water, and lunch and snacks. I will post up more details as we get close to the day.
